Courant3D Festival in Angoulême on October 14-15

The Courant3D Festival , the International Short Film Festival for Stereoscopic 3D and VR, will take place in Angoulême on October 14 and 15, 2016.

Organized by the association Prenez du Relief in partnership with Pôle Image Magelis and the Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l’Image, the festival champions the development and promotion of short films in virtual reality and stereoscopic 3D.

During the event, G4F will host a conference on Friday, October 14, starting at 4 PM, presented by its founder and CEO, Vincent Percevault, titled "Binaural and Angular Audio for VR." The session will delve into innovations and best practices for handling sound in virtual reality environments, as well as showcase the latest tools and technologies in the industry.

The festival will also feature other engaging conferences on topics such as psychology and VR production, as well as exhibitions. Additionally, two competitions will highlight the event: one for stereoscopic 3D films and another for VR short films.

The Courant3D Festival, a must-attend event for 3D and VR enthusiasts, will be held at the Cinéma de la Cité in Angoulême. Discover the complete program and join us!
